As the editor of the Silver Bear Cafe, I spend most of my time researching current events. I explore the markets, the economic war that is being waged on the middle class, precious metals, the Federal Reserve, energy, and how to go about surviving financially. In this weekly column I will provide commentary, and attempt to condense the week's events and examine how the news might affect your pocketbook. - JSB

Bat Crap Crazy

I received an email this week from a long time reader. The following is a transcription of the entire message:

If you locked Ann Barnhardt, Glen Beck and Michelle Bachman in a room together and fed them nothing but LSD for a week, then turned them loose in a TV production studio, they could not have come up with anything more bizarre than "The Sandy Hook Hoax."

As always, I very much appreciate the informative materials that I find on your site, but it seems to me that, as time goes by, there are more and more really bat-crap crazy articles and videos showing up.

Perhaps such things are being presented as comic relief. I hope that they are not intended to be taken seriously... - Jack

First of all, let me say that I appreciate all my readers. I have managed to communicate to each of them my "wake up call" to varying degrees. Some more than others. As I have admitted before, I am as obsessed with finding and disseminating the truth, as any Bible thumping missionary is about relating scriptural tenets. They are not the same, however. There is only one truth and it has absolutely nothing to do with organized religion. Organized religion is a "pay for view" distraction.

Second, I would like to cast my opinions of the three persons mentioned in the email. I would have to agree with the aspersions that Jack cast on Michelle Bachman. She strikes me as a clueless do gooder moralist who found her constituency among others of her ilk.

Glen Beck strikes me as a non-genuine opportunist and a sell out. Not unlike Rush Limbaugh, he has found a niche and exploited it for all that it's worth. Nothing wrong with milking sensationalistic stories, but he is not one that I would rely on as a source of the truth.

Ann Barnhardt, on the other hand, is, IMHO, a stalwart harbinger of the truth. Consequently, one must wade through all her "Onward Christian Soldiers" shtick, in order to benefit from her experiences. I do not mean to suggest that her religious leanings diminish the value of the lessons she learned as a former cattle futures trading business owner. The conclusions she drew from her experiences in the real world are summed up in her quotation expressed in the following two paragraphs:

"The ENTIRE SYSTEM is totally, completely corrupt and therefore NO FIRM IS SAFE. Don't be stupid. Don't be obtuse. Snap yourself out of the Stockholm Syndrome that you are clearly stuck in. Get ALL MONEY out of the ENTIRE FINANCIAL SYSTEM, including stocks, bonds, retirement accounts, futures, EVERYTHING.

What part of EVERYTHING are you not comprehending? One. More. Time. If you can't touch it, if it isn't physically on your property such that you can stand in front of it with an assault rifle and PHYSICALLY defend it, you don't own it, and it could be confiscated/stolen from you at any time, if it ever actually existed at all."

I just can't argue with logic like that. I have come to realize the depth of their rapacity. The entirety of the criminal financial and political systems are corrupt to the bone. There is so much evil that, for most, it cannot be fathomed.

That being said, I would like to take this opportunity to share with you some demographic information concerning my readership.

You can see that the Silver Bear Cafe is frequented by mostly males, mostly Caucasian, who are generally between the ages of fifty and eighty-five, who have incomes, on average, of $150,000 per year and are extremely well educated. They are open minded and have managed to retain their capacity for critical thought. The overwhelming majority of the American population has not. The dumbing down campaign, waged by the Darkside, has been going on for 100 years and has proven to be a roaring success.

Another fact that is not apparent in the chart is the fact that the Bear's readership is also sourced from a group that is made up of only 3% of American males. Only three, out of one hundred, white males in this country care enough about the Constitution and defending the tenets of liberty to harbor the slightest interest in the subject matter purveyed on this site. For American women, the number is only one out of a thousand. That is one reason why I appreciate Ann Barnhardt. She is truly a "rare bird".

Last week I featured a quote by one of my perennial favorites, Ayn Rand.

"There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil."

I have received several emails from folks that were not sure what she meant by that quote. Given that both she and I are positive that there is only one truth, we are (at least I am) constantly confronted with doubt and denial during my ongoing attempt to address the real reasons that we are in the situation that we currently find ourselves faced with. From the quote above, we realize that one side is right (there is only one truth) one side is wrong (the "official story" is so ingrained in most people's psyches, they can't see the forest for the trees) but the middle ground is occupied by purveyors of an intentionally false message which is usually provided for predatory reasons. Another definition for this conduct might be propagandizing.

There is no point in worrying about the erosion of personal freedoms, that is the reality of our present era, if we are unwilling to do anything about it. They say that knowledge is power, but that is one of the greatest myths of all history. Knowledge without action is useless and leads only to apathy and despair. No one can deny that American Society is, perhaps, the most apathetic group the world has ever known. So the question is: what type of action can reverse this trend? Writing letters, sending postcards and signing petitions to the same propagandists who have created the problem is not going to do it. Voting for corrupted candidates selected by power brokers with hidden agendas will not do it either. There have been many proposals to reverse the tide of totalitarianism but, after decades of effort, none of them have worked. I believe that the main obstacle in successfully re-righting the ship of state is for people to wake up to the reality that we are constantly being lied to as the propaganda is being disseminated.

This, unfortunately, is not a new trend. So long as there have been politicians, there have been corrupt politicians. Consequently corruption has become the norm, rather than the exception. Let me illustrate by exploring some instances in American history where the truth has been either withheld from the general population, or was glossed over by a complete fabrication and contained nary a trace of reality.

True or False

How many of you think that the Civil War was fought over slavery? In my opinion that idea was initially forwarded by a lying, conniving, hypocritical piece of crap, as a clever ruse. The Civil War started in April of 1861. In 1863, the North was losing badly. Lincoln, who was an averred proponent of slavery, came up with the Emancipation Proclamation, a reprehensible wad of BS that made the war one of good (abolitionists) against evil (slavers). The fact was that then, as now, public opinion was/is swayed by propaganda. It is spoon fed to the sheeple and the sheeple lap it up.

On July 19 the Associated Press and Reuter's reported an "amazing find" at a museum in Allentown, Pennsylvania: A copy of a letter dated March 16, 1861, and signed by Abraham Lincoln imploring the governor of Florida to rally political support for a constitutional amendment that would have legally enshrined slavery in the U.S. Constitution.

Actually, the letter is not at all "amazing" to anyone familiar with the real Lincoln. It was a copy of a letter that was sent to the governor of every state urging them all to support the amendment, which had already passed the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, that would have made southern slavery constitutionally "irrevocable," to use the word that Lincoln used in his first inaugural address ...

This is one reason why the great Massachusetts libertarian abolitionist Lysander Spooner ... hated and despised Lincoln and his entire gang.

The Lincoln cult knows about all of this, but works diligently to keep it out of view of the general public.

Most of these kinds of documents have been meticulously whitewashed from the historical record. When they do surface and are made public, the Lincoln cult gets to work burying them in an avalanche of excuses designed to fog the real meaning of the documents in the minds of the average American ...

Not only did Lincoln support this slavery forever amendment, but the amendment was his idea from the very beginning.

Lincoln's slavery forever amendment read as follows:

"No amendment shall be made to the Constitution which will authorize or give to Congress the power to abolish or interfere, within any State, with the domestic institutions thereof, including that of persons held to labor or service by the laws of said State." (See U.S. House of Representatives, 106th Congress, 2nd Session, The Constitution of the United States of America: Unratified Amendments, Doc. No. 106-214).

In his first inaugural address Dishonest Abe explicitly supported this amendment while pretending that he hardly knew anything about it (i.e., lying).

Lincoln was not an abolitionist and, unlike Lysander Spooner, he believed that slavery was already constitutional. Nevertheless, he also favored making it "express and irrevocable."

Wow. Imagine that!

I point this out because the only way to learn from history is to know what the history really was. When our textbooks lie about who Lincoln was and what he was about, it makes it far more difficult to learn the lessons of history. I have researched this issue most diligently (ad nauseam). In a past essay, 'And whether pigs have wings' Part One: Something Wicked This Way Comes, I lay out the evidence of the real reasons that Lincoln got us into the war. The Civil War was fought for the usual reasons: money and power, not slavery. Furthermore, Lincoln was by far the worst president in US history ( LBJ comes in at a close second) and he [Lincoln] set in motion a number of things that destroyed our constitutional republic. As an aside: Since this amendment passed both houses of Congress, and ratified by Illinois, it is only a matter of getting another 37 states to ratify it and slavery will be lawful -- overturning the current 13th Amendment! I don't advocate it, but I do advocate discussing what the real American history is.

JFK

How many of your friends and family believe that Lee Harvey Oswald killed John Kennedy? He either did, or he didn't. I expect that the overwhelming majority of the people you know think that the "official story" is correct. Could it be that the "official story" came from "officials" that were trying to cover their butts? I have also conducted exhaustive research on the murder of JFK. At one point I thought that LBJ was the ringleader of the plot to kill the President. However, upon further research, I uncovered the CIA's involvement as well. And then it grew even larger than that. There is no doubt that Lee Harvey Oswald was a patsy. Even his murderer, Jack Ruby, had mafia ties, but then so did Bill Decker, the Dallas County Sheriff at the time of JFK's death.

Kennedy was aware of the malevolent agenda of several groups that were either serving the banks or were made up of direct associates of the Darkside. He expressed those thoughts in a 1961 statement before media personnel:

"The word secrecy is repugnant in a free and open society, and we are as a people, inherently and historically opposed to secret societies, secret oaths and secret proceedings. For we are opposed around the world by a monolithic and ruthless conspiracy, that relies primarily on covert means for expanding its sphere of influence. It depends on infiltration instead of invasion, on subversion instead of elections, on intimidation instead of free choice. It is a system which has conscripted vast human and material resources into the building of a tightly knit, highly efficient machine that combines military, diplomatic, intelligence, economic, scientific, and political operations. Its preparations are concealed, not published, its mistakes are buried, not headlined, and its dissenters are silenced, not praised, no expenditure is questioned, no secret revealed… I am asking your help in the tremendous task of informing and alerting the American people."

How many of you know that Woodrow Wilson was aware of a plot to use the Lusitania as bait to get the United States into WW1. Wilson's roommate in the White House, Colonel Mandell House, was a Rothschild agent who secretly directed U.S. affairs during the Wilson administration. House and Winston Churchill arranged to have the ship loaded with munitions and let it set sail, full of passengers, after informing the Germans of its nefarious intent.

The Germans posted an advertisement in several north-eastern city newspapers warning would be passengers of their intentions. We were brought into WW1 at the behest of the Bank of England, an event that I explored in a recent commentary, "Reality leaves a lot to the imagination."

It seem like I am presenting a chronological list of treasonous events which unfolded in our history. I could go on to cite the instance of the Federal Reserve (read in Bank of England) foreclosing on the American Government. On March 9, 1933, the U.S. declared bankruptcy, as expressed in President Franklin Delano Roosevelt's Executive Orders 6073, 6102, 6111, and 6260. Roosevelt's bankrupting the United States and his prior knowledge concerning Pearl Harbor, would have, seemingly, enraged a conscientious citizenry. But it didn't.

We could discuss how, after engineering Eisenhower's election, Nelson Rockefeller was appointed Special Assistant to the President. This turned out to be a turning point in American politics, for the worst. It provided more control of the government to the Banksters, than ever before. Eisenhower's last address to the country warned of the Military Industrial Complex which was another way of saying that Bankers, not politicians, would wage wars in the name of the American people from that point on.

I have treated the LBJ Presidency in great length by exploring his ties to bankers and the fortune he amassed as a result of the false flag initiated war in Viet Nam.

The point of all this is I believe that a person, who has been conditioned to trust authority, is not prone to losing that trust. So if I am required to exhibit evidence that we have been lied to, time and time again, so that you may start to doubt the "official story" and become more willing to examine the evidence, you may have your eyes opened as to what is actually going on.

Nixon's taking us off the gold standard in 1971 was one of the greatest tragedies in recent history. It ushered in a period of unfettered currency creation. The Darkside began transferring wealth more rapidly than any time in history. They created currency out of thin air and then traded it to unsuspecting sheeple for farmland and factories and commercial real estate and stocks and stores of raw materials, mining interests, power generation facilities and precious metals.

Then came 911. You are about to have the opportunity to hear Dr. Paul Craig Roberts give you his take on several "stretch of the imagination" events that have been calmly accepted by the American People. I first posted this video in September, 2010. I included my introduction.

(Editor's Note: In the days leading up to the tenth anniversary of the bringing down of the twin towers in NYC, "the Bear" will feature an article each day which will, hopefully shed some light and bring some insight into the truth of 9/11. I realize that this is a "touchy" subject. I expect to receive many emails from readers whose "comfort zones" have been violated. But now, after ten years, 36% of Americans believe 9/11 was an inside job. In the same poll, only 28% of the people even knew that a third building (building seven) fell. Building seven is the "canary in the coal mine". One cannot watch the collapse of building seven without realizing, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that its collapse was a result of "controlled demolition". The fact that the planning and preparation required to "pull" a skyscraper (or three) takes several months (more if its occupied) and the odds of building seven being brought down on 9/11 without prior knowledge of the planned destruction of the twin towers is preposterous, and it's a fact that has been conveniently overlooked by the bulk of the sheeple. It's one thing to be born stupid. It's an unfortunate result of being genetically challenged. It's another thing, entirely, to be "conveniently stupid" or stupid on purpose (SOP). Being stupid on purpose is a devolutionary act. It is the antithesis of "survival of the fittest". It is an act that merits a Darwin Award and it is the result of being effectively "dumbed down" for generations. It's an affliction that, as a result of the dumbing down, is running rampant in our country today. Until the sheeple wake up, and the perps of the 9/11 attack on America are routed out, and exposed to the light of day, the future of America will remain on extremely shaky ground. Neither you nor your kids will have a happy, secure future so long as you allow madmen to run the world. - JSB)

Now that you have, hopefully, started considering the possibilities, you may be beginning to realize that if the Darkside would go to these lengths to forward their heinous agenda, there could not be anything they would not do. In the video below, even Geraldo Rivera begins to exhibit doubt about the official story. You will see Larry Silverstein (owner of the buildings) admitting to having "pulled" building seven. He would have you believe that the decision to demolish that building was made on 911. It is telling to realize that it took four to six months to set the charges to demolish that building. Hey! All three building were brought down by controlled demolition, as was the building in Oklahoma City. The Government murdered all the folks on the Branch Dividian Compound in Waco. You can believe this commentary or not, but there is only one truth.

Now, in an attempt to wrap my commentary, allow me to introduce you to the most evil plan ever conceived: Agenda 21

And this from Jim O'Neill:

At the U.N. Summit at Rio in 1992, the Conference Secretary-General, Maurice Strong, said "Isn't the only hope for this planet that the industrialized civilization collapse? Isn't it our responsibility to bring that about?"

The death knell for freedom has been tolling for some time, and only now are people starting to hear it. It started tolling faintly, decades back, and has slowly progressed in volume, until today its tolling is impossible to ignore.

The United States of America - that "shining city on a hill" - had a good run of it, and made a gallant effort at establishing liberty for all. But as the old saw would have it, all good things must come to an end.

Liberty, after all, is an aberration in mankind's history - a light that has flared here and there over the centuries, only to dissolve back into the darkness.

America is barreling towards becoming a bit player on the world's stage, and its vaunted middle class - once the envy of the world - is on the verge of being eliminated. For the good of the planet, for the good of Gaia. for the good of the collective - freedom is being replaced by servitude, capitalism by socialism, and property rights by "sustainable development."

I'm not talking about something we need to be on guard against. It is all already in place. It has been going on for quite some time, and it will continue to go on, at a greatly accelerated pace. We are at the "end game" point.

And the Globalists know it. Why do you think the Democratic (and many Republican) political hacks on Capitol Hill are so dismissive of the American people? They are essentially putting on a "dog and pony show" for public consumption, while the final pieces for America's defeat are slid into place.

To a great extent the Globalists own the mass media, the entertainment industry, and the Judicial, Executive, and Legislative branches of government.

The United Nations is forwarding a plan which includes radical changes which are intended to eliminate our personal liberties, all together. The Darkside is behind the plan and the elites are fully on board. Until you familiarize yourself with the intentions of Agenda 21, you will not understand the scope of the conspiracy. One of the main tenets of the plan, so far as America is concerned, is to disarm us. I believe Newtown Conn., a community made up, almost exclusively by elites, participated in one of the greatest false flags operations, since 911. It was an attempt to sway public opinion concerning gun ownership and incite more Draconian legislation concerning gun control. In order to grasp the motivation and intent of this occurrence, it will require you to muster the strength to re-examine everything you think you know.

There have always been conspiracy theories. They are, essentially, unsolved crimes. Many have been outed and lose that 'theory" designation. They are usually figured out after the perps are dead and gone, so they don't matter to most. From the Gulf of Tonkin false flag to Bengazi, they all matter to me. Our current crop of criminals is more sophisticated, more audacious, and more evil than any that have come before them. If left unbridled, they will destroy America.

When you watch videos of Building Seven collapsing, at free fall speed, into its own footprint, and you realize that it would have taken four to six months to set the charges that would bring it down, you have to realize that you are witnessing a conspiracy. Not a theory, but a conspiracy. Once you realize that fact you might be compelled to question the collapse of Buildings One and Two. All three Buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. It must have taken over a year to set the charges in the taller buildings. Once you get your mind around that, the Oklahoma City bombing comes into focus. I would suggest that you, individually, research what was in those buildings that Federal Agencies might have wanted to be destroyed. You will find the answers. I did. When you do, the possibility that Sandy Hook was a staged false flag, along with the Boston Marathon tragedy, will seem much more plausible. When you get a glimpse of the depth of their depravity, it will sicken you.

I believe that the Bear's main attraction is its provision of affirmation. Most of my long tem readers enjoy following me down the rabbit hole. My specialty is going deeper that most. I would implore you to ask yourself: If I knew these thing to be true, what would I do about it? Would it cause me to act differently? If the answer is nothing and no, perhaps you are better off in denial.There is no sense in having the knowledge if you are not prepared to act on it. One of the basic principles of my editorial slant, concerns unearthing the causes of the problems. Problems cannot be solved unless the causes are first understood. Oh, and by the way Jack, no, the articles and videos are not intended to provide comic relief.

Conclusion

You must first realize that there are, present in our lives, enemies. You must then know who those enemies are, and act accordingly.

Eliminate as much debt as possible, especially “variable rate” debt, such as credit cards and lines of credit. Interest rates will eventually rise, which will leave borrowers unable to repay loans. These borrowers include cities, states and countries. Rising interest rates will provide "the straw that breaks the camels back". If you are present, you will be taken down with everybody else. The elimination of debt offers a “real return” of escaping rising rates by creditors.

Get some control over some fresh water.

If you are depending exclusively on Social Security, stop.

Follow the course opposite to custom and you will almost always do well...

Its not what you don't know that will screw you up, it's what you are absolutely sure of that is absolutely wrong. The spin you hear from the mainstream media is intended to mislead you. Open your eyes and face the future. If you leave your head in the sand and ignore it, you are only leaving your butt exposed for the world to kick. This all may sound like gloom and doom, but when you get a handle on what is going to happen, you will have a future filled with opportunity. Fortune favors the Informed.
