In
1979, after his book Crisis Investing became the best selling financial
book in history, Doug Casey started a monthly newsletter of the
same name. He has been publishing this newsletter continuously since then
although the name changed to International Speculator in November 1996.
Decades have passed since the inception of this letter and not only have many of Doug's predictions come to pass, his recommendations have also worked out well during this time. Those who know Doug personally also know that he follows his own advice. As such, his lifestyle has changed and has reached the stage where he prefers to pick the fruit as opposed to weeding the garden.
